On special request from someone special, I am putting another quiz. This one is much easier. I have drawn some literal representations of muhavres (Hindi proverbs). Try and identify them; have fun.
Please do not look at the comments column before you do your round of guessing; someone may already have answered by the time you visit, and you may lose interest.

ReplyDeleteitna dimaag to hai ni mere paas ki cartoons ka meaning dhoond paon. but i liked your drawings. good imagination :)
ReplyDeletewat will be the english idiom of meri billi mujhi se meow..
ReplyDeleteI am sorry Chandni... I don't quite recall the English equivalent... but I am sure there is one.
ReplyDeleteA direct translation would read something like - "my cat purrs at me".. haha
2. Lakeer ka fakeer.
ReplyDelete10. Ab aaya oonth pahaad ke neeche.
I thought 11th as:
Ek he thaili ke chatte batte.
But
Ek anaar sau bimar is perfect.
hmmm, this was the second post I read on your blog(Button Ka Jeevan was the first one) and I think I did write a comment on this one,but it isn't there. It was something about asking for more such posts I guess. Is it me hallucinating or what? But I am sure I commented!! (O_o)
ReplyDeleteEven I remember you asking for one. Was it on the other muhavre post? Don't remember. But somewhere in the middle, I did lose some comments when I migrated to Disqus and then came back to blogger. maybe...
Deletei think 8. is Daal me kuch kala hai
